Menopause & Perimenopause

Menopause is not a disease — but for many women, the journey through perimenopause and menopause can significantly affect quality of life, and it deserves far more than a passing mention at the end of a standard GP appointment. At Santé Medical, we are proud to be a Menopause Friendly Practice, reflecting our genuine commitment to providing informed, compassionate and evidence-based care for women at every stage of this transition.

Doctors Amelia, Rebecca, Kylie and Jackie have an interest in menopause and perimenopause, bringing both clinical expertise and a deep understanding of the physical, hormonal and emotional changes that this time of life can bring. Whether you’re in the early stages of perimenopause — noticing changes in your cycle, sleep or mood — or well into menopause and seeking better symptom management, our doctors will take the time to listen carefully, investigate thoroughly and work with you on a plan that’s right for your body, your history and your life.

Menopausal Hormone Therapy (MHT) is one of the most effective tools available for managing menopause symptoms, and our doctors are highly experienced in prescribing and monitoring individualised MHT regimens.  Together we take a current, evidence-based approach — cutting through the confusion and outdated information that many women encounter — so you can make truly informed decisions about your care. Beyond hormones, we also look at the broader picture: bone health, cardiovascular risk, nutrition, sleep and mental wellbeing, because menopause is a whole-body transition, not just a hormonal one.

You deserve to feel well, informed and supported at every age. If you’ve been putting up with symptoms or feeling dismissed elsewhere, we’d love to help — book a dedicated menopause consultation with one of our doctors today.
